Use of Articles a or an

Articles a or an describes only one person, place or thing

1. a is used before a person, place or an object which starts with a consonant (b,c,d,f,g,h,j,k,l,m,n,p,q,r,s,t,v,w,x,y,z

example: a quail , a duck, a doll, a rat, a gate, a kite, a vase, a zipper, a mango

2. an is used before a person, place, or an object which starts with a vowel (a,e,i,o,u)
