Si Miming at si Aw Aw (Maikling Kwento)

Si Miming at si Aw-Aw
Story by: Ofelia Concepcion

Krrrrrrrrkkk
Yan si Miming at si Aw! Aw!

He......He ..tagumpay ang plano ko.

May Aral ba kayong natutunan?

The Cat and Dog
Story by: Ofelia Concepcion

Both Miming and Aw-aw were pets of Miko. Miko loved them dearly. The kind boy would even allow them to sleep in his bed.
Even if their owner treated them fairly, they were still jealous of each other . His lace is better than mine, Miming said resentfully. Her lace has a bell, Aw-aw thought he will be happier if he gets all of Miko's attention.
One time , when Miko was away, Aw-Aw deliberately scattered his toys. " who did this?" the child surprisingly asked.
It's Miming! Aw-aw told Miko. "miming plays with your toys after you're gone. Aw-Aw thought Miko will scold Miming. He was wrong.
I bought a ball for you," Miko said to Miming. "From now on, you will play with this." Aw-Aw was pissed off. His plan had gone awry.
Miming knew Aw-Aw hatched the plan to discredit her. She also thought of a plan that would make Miko gets mad at him. She scattered the garbage in the kitchen.
Miko was fuming mad. He told Aw-aw to sleep outside the house. "That is my punishment to you!!" he said angrily. Miming rejoiced secretly. Her plan went well.
It rained that night. Aw-aw shook with cold. Miming will pay for this! he said threateningly.
At the first instance he saw Miming , Aw-Aw jumped at her. Miming was able to scamper away so he ran after her.
Figurines and other home decors were broken to pieces as Aw-aw chased Miming. Stop it, Aw-aw! Miko shouted at his pet. Since then , Miming and Aw-aw were separated from each other . Miming stayed inside the house .Aw Aw was tasked to stay outside with his own house.
